Are you clueless about keywords that you should be targeting or are boggled with thoughts of having missed out on certain keywords? For those of you who jump traffic signal, bump into people while walking, trip over office furniture or wake up in the middle of the night engrossed in your ‘keyword thought’ ; Search-Based Keyword Tool could be your lone savior.
Google explains …..
“Here’s the scoop: you know that the Google search engine starts with searches conducted by users and helps them find relevant pages. But for keyword targeting, what you want is a tool that goes in the opposite direction by starting with your pages and identifying keywords that potential customers are searching on to find your products or services. The Search-based Keyword Tool does exactly this, leveraging search query data relevant to your website’s content. In other words, this new tool gives you keywords that are highly relevant to your site but are not part of your AdWords campaigns. This helps you take advantage of missed opportunities.”
The tool, however, is not useless for people who don’t currently advertise with Adwords. The tool will still showcase all the keywords relevant to the site but would be limited to 100 results. The same would apply if your not logged in or do not own the website.
The launch of this tool coincides with the holiday season, and will be a great boon for advertisers and online retailers. No “Oh sh#t I missed that” this time!
As skeptical as I am, the time of release and the tool itself makes think “What is Google after this time?” Well it is quite evident; Google will be hoping that this tool will help/instigate/compel advertisers into spending more. If you knew what you were missing, would you not grab it?
Big G ceases to amaze me!

Yes, Google is not going to stop and certainly unstoppable and it continues to grow grow and grow as it comes up with new ideas everytime
kudos to Google !!
I’ve tried many websites, small and large, it did not return one keyword. Maybe the UI is terrible, maybe it just simply is not working.
