In one of our earlier post titled Does you agency deliver?, we did talk about ‘pay for performance’ model and the inherent advantages it offers. The benefits are obvious, both for client and SEO agency. However pay for performance based on revenue sharing is more suited than pay for performance based on ranking or traffic.

Having said that, revenue based pay for performance model is not perfect. Since revenue earning can be affected by unanimous decision(s) taken by business owner without consulting the SEO agency, the model is flawed. Its success rests on mutual understanding and shared control, which unfortunately is hard to come by.</description>

Why not pay for performance? Simply, pay only after they have achieved a top ranking in Google for the best keywords for them. The rest of the search engines and terms that get listed because of this are free.</description>
